A member asked:

The skin on my upper arms and one of my legs is sensitive to the touch, like when you have a fever, however i'm not running a fever. what causes that?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dysesthesia: This uncomfortable sensation from merely touching normal appearing skin is seen in diabetics and nerve disorders like neuropathy and multiple sclerosis. It doesn't appear that you have any of the signs or symptoms of those conditions but for further evaluation see a neurologist if symptoms persist or worsen.
