Fertile day: It's pretty difficult to get pregnant if you are not fertile! Just be aware that women are fertile on more than one day, so there are fertile DAYS that you can get pregnant, not just one fertile DAY. Hope that clarifies things!

Fertile days: A woman is most likely to be fertile 12-16 days before she is expecting her next period. She can only conceive around ovulation. Because the timing of ovulation cannot be determined " within hours" of its occurrence, pregnancy is more likely if she has sex around her " fertile days". Relying on not having sex around the fertile days ("rhythm method") to prevent pregnancy is not recommended.
