Not exactly: Pregnancy can start on one day (or 1-2 days) during each cycle, because the egg only lives for a day or two. No egg = no baby. Sperm can live several days, so having sex from 1 to 5 days before the egg is ready, up to and including the day of ovulation, can lead to pregnancy... but the pregnancy can only begin on the 1-2 days that the egg is live and ready. That's why fertile days are 6-7 days.
