More info needed: Overwhelming infection can sometimes cause low white counts. I would start with a visit to your doctor--who ordered the blood test?--and a candid discussion of what you think may be wrong. The doctor will then know which tests to order. I would take precautions with physical relationships until the matter is resolved.
