A member asked:

Been having bromocriptine tablets for 22 days now still not had my period why is this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Be patient: Hi. I assume you're treating a prolactinoma. It takes time for the prolactin level to normalize and then for normal rhythmic hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian function to resume. Your prolactin dose may not even be adequate yet, so further dosage adjustment may be necessary before your periods resume. Be patient. Are you tolerating the bromocriptine OK? Good luck!
