High Prolactin: If you were started on bromocriptine for an elevated proloactin then that explains your cycle irregularity. High prolactin levels inhibit the menstrual cycle. That is often how the benign brain tumor called a prolactinoma is found. Normally the medication is given daily not just for 8 days. Clarify the plan with your treating physician.
