A member asked:

Does lumbar scoliosis surgery has connection with the tendency to use the bathroom more often ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Scoliosis: No. Scoliosis does not lead to increased urination or bowel movements. However pregnancy does cause increased urination. Hormonal changes, increased blood volume, and pressure on the bladder from the baby all conspire to cause urinary frequency and a lack of sleep.
