A member asked:

Is having decreased menstrual blood flow than normal for two consecutive cycles a cause for serious concern for a woman of 24 years?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: The amount of flow depends on the balance of estrogen and progesterone . The more estrogen the more uterine lining grows and the more you have to bleed off. Progesterone is produced after ovulation and makes the lining stop growing and get mature. If ovulation is early you will have less time for the lining to grow.
