Cipro (ciprofloxacin): Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is prescribed for various conditions, but the most common is bronchitis and urinary or prostate problems. Common side effects: abdominal pain, elevated liver enzymes, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, restlessness. Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is a quinalone and has been associated with Achilles tendon rupture. This usually with long term use.

Many things: It treats many different types of infections from sinus to urinary to intra-abdominal to genitourinary. It does have side effects, the most common being nausea, diarrhea, headache, and rashes.
