Depo- provera (medroxyprogesterone): Everybody is different. The longer you were on it, the thinner your uterine lining. It may take a little longer for your lining to regenerate and subsequently shed.

4-6 months: It can take 4-6 months, sometimes even longer, for the last Depo shot to get out of your system and for your periods to start back
