If as reported, you may try exercising pelvic floor muscle 3-5 minutes for 2-3 times daily as Kegel's for women + taking alpha-blocker like tamsulosin, and see how your urine stream may evolve or improve. Yes: It is tight bladder neck muscle. This often feels better with alpha blockers such as tamsulosin(trade name flomax) which are also commonly used for enlarged prostates in men older than yourself.Discuss with your doctor if no prescription was given.Good luck.

You say they have: found a tight bladder neck. The bladder neck comes before the prostate and is part of the bladder, not the prostate. that is why you were not not an elnlarged prostate.
