Sounds viral: From what you describe is sounds like and upper respiratory viral infection. Symptomatic treatment including pain reliever for sore throat, decongestant for runny nose. Keep well hydrated (no caffeine or alcohol). If no better or worse in 7-10 days, see your healthcare provider for evaluation. Hope this helps and that you feel better soon. Dr R
