Allergic rhinitis: Defintely get checked for allergies and get started on therapy. You may be getting mucous or fluid in your inner ear, causing a sensation of "brain fog": no matter what, it sounds allergic and must be checked and treated.

Oh dear: Rhinorrhea can be a benign autonomic manifestation of various other things, including cluster and migraine headaches. The "brain fog" would go with that. However, it could be (not saying it IS) something as serious as leaking cerebrospinal fluid. I suggest you see your doctor in a TIMELY manner. Common things are common, but there are times when you have to have a high index of suspicion.
