May be: May be too early or the dose may be too low. Clomid (clomiphene) doesn't work immediately and doesn't work at the same dose for everyone and for some people it doesn't work at all and other drugs must be tried. Talk to your doctor about this.

Clomid (clomiphene): What cycle day are you? 50mg of clomid (clomiphene) may not be enough. How many cycles have you taken the clomid (clomiphene) at 50mg? Did you ovulate any of those cycles? If this is your first cycle with clomid (clomiphene), utilizing OPK during your known ovulation window may indeed cause ovulation and a positive test. If it is negative, then you simply did not ovulate.

Didn't ovulate: climid is most often taken on days 5-9 of your cycle. the ovulation test is most commonly positive 5 days after completing the clomid (clomiphene). if your test is negative then you didn't ovulate. sometimes higher doses are needed and some women don't ovulate with clomid (clomiphene).
