Best not to: In pregnancy we recommend the precautionary principle.Unless it is necessary don't use/take anything that has been proven to be safe and in medicine we always balance risks and benefits.Even if the risk is small, how much benefit to you health and that of your baby is there? The safest thing is not to but if not doing it is going to cause distress be sure a professional does it with vegetable dyes

Avoid, Others OK: Chemicals of this nature in my opinion are to be avoided. However, there are many who believe it is not harmful to unborn children. I believe it is still better to avoid these optional exposures.

Usually fine: It should be fine to color your hair. Only thing I recommend is do it at a well ventilated location as many pregnant women don't tolerate chemical smells well.
