Could be your body: is preparing to wanting to direct your circulation to getting ready to eat? Look to see where your warmth feeling goes after eating? It may be toward your stomach area, where digestion is taking place. Could also be as you are dehydrated, your body is giving you signal that it's time to drink liquids to hydrate, and quench your thirst, that may appear to you as a lump in your throat.

Good question: No easy answer. Stay well hydrated. Eat three healthy meals a day including breakfast. Get lots of sleep. See your doctor to get a good physical done. Hopefully this will go away. Sounds like its causing you some anxiety.
