Artery Aneurysm: Splenic artery aneurysms are the most common type of visceral artery aneurysm and usually require treatment to prevent rupture. At your age of 54 yo & the small size of 6 mm, this aneurysm could be followed until it reaches a larger size (20 mm is usually the size where it needs repair). If the docotors think it is causing symptoms, it could be repaired sooner. Stents or embolization can be used.
