Yes and no: Benzamycine is actually 2 medicines - benzoyl peroxide and erythromycin.None of the strains of the bacteria that cause acne have become resistant to benzoyl peroxide yet, so that is still good to go. However, some strains are erythromycin resistant, so that part of it may need to be changed. Other combo products, like Benzaclin (clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide) (benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin) may work.Talk to your dermatologist
