Depo medrol (methylprednisolone): For what condition? and where was it injected? Discuss with your doctor. Blood flow to an area, exercise, metabolism, other medications are factors that could affect the functional effect of an injection. If it was for arthritis in a joint , whether it was injected into the joint or in the tissue surrounding the joint will affect the length of the effect.

Results vary: You did not really say where you had the injection or what it was for but results with steroid injections vary. If it was an intramuscular injection to calm down your asthma then it would only be expected to last for a week or two. If it was a joint injection for arthritis then it could relieve the pain for up to 3 months. Even this is variable and people have different results.
