Back pain after c/s: The spinal for c/s is commonly blamed but rarely is the cause. Back pain as a result of the anesthetic is usually immediate. Back pain after c/s is common. Cause is unclear. One thought is it is from resulting scar tissue from the c/s that causes pulling in the lumbar sacral region. Another cause is poor body mechanics and posture in caring for the new baby. It's always good idea to get checked
