Should i be standing on my feet long periods of time with cerebral palsy?

Can you not sit?: Is there something obligating you to stand for long periods of time? Why not just sit? Is it a job or some other obligatory activity where sitting is not allowed? You'd have to specify what you mean by "long periods of time" but I'm not aware of any guidelines which strictly PROHIBIT standing for certain time frames in people with CP. I think we need a bit more context to give a better answer.
