Behavior Specialist: 2 y. o. has persistent crying. If your son had thorough exam by the doctor & has normal growth/development, then a serious medical cause is unlikely. Psychological causes must now be pursued; the most common being temper tantrums which can be unwittingly propagated by parental responses. Other causes are separation anxiety, familial discord. Return to doctor for referral to behavioral specialist.
