Pretty good: however, it is mostly just a gimmick. There's no rocket science to measuring your pulse. You can either use the radial artery on your wrist (on the thumb side) or your carotid artery on your neck (just in front of the muscle group on your neck) and then count the pulses over 15 seconds, multiply by 4 and that's your heart rate in beats per second. This will save battery time on your smartphone!
