A member asked:

Can dusphaston cause period to change? i always bleed at 33-35days but now only 27 days after use that medicine! also uncomfortable with breast nipple

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See details: First, let me say that Duphaston (dydrogesterone) is not available in the USA. It is a progestin and used to treat progesterone deficiencies and can counteract the effects of estrogen. Therefore, yes it can change your cycle. It may be that your 33 to 35 cycles were not ovulatory therefore you were given the progestin. It might cause nipple sensitivity, also.
