A member asked:

I went to a sushi place, and left the food in the car. say the fish was radioactive, would it make stuff in my car radioactive? does it spread?

No.: Radioactive atoms, or isotopes, decay with time to form stable isotopes. This means that, in general, they tend to get less radioactive with time. Stuff like mercury in fish can be more problematic in the long run, as the amount of mercury does not decrease with time.
