A member asked:

If i had seafood that was radioactive, and cooked with other food, would the other food become radioactive? detail.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No.: Radioactive atoms, or isotopes, decay with time to form stable isotopes. This means that, in general, they tend to get less radioactive with time. Stuff like mercury in fish can be more problematic in the long run, as the amount of mercury does not decrease with time.
