Folliculitis: Inflammation of the hair follicle occurs for many reasons, but when associated with shaving usually is caused by a dull razor, sensitivity to the shaving product or friction by clothing.

Bumps: The bumps may be due to folliculitis or an infection of the hair follicles. It is important that you use a new or clean razor when you shave

Bumps: it could be a reaction of the skin in that area to the trauma of shaving. We all have bacteria (usually Staph) all over our skin and deep into the skin and they can cause low grade infection. some poeple get the same thing at the back of their head after a hair cut. Try to use something that has 70% alcohol in it (liquid , cream, lotion) over the area before shaving next time, it may help
