6-8 wks: Radial Collateral Ligament injuries to the MCP joint usually heal in 6-8 weeks. Be careful not to re-injury thumb. Good Occupational Therapy program can help to maintain strength and mobility while joint heals. Hope this helps. Best of luck. Dr R
