Tendonitis?: Sound like inflammation of the muscles, tendons in your arms. Swelling likely swelling in the tendon sheaths from the overuse. Ice to affected areas (20-30 min on/off) rest of areas affected and anti-inflammatory (ibuprofen or naproxen-if no reason NOT to use them) should help. Should be better in 3-5 days. Overdid it: if you are not conditioned and suddenly overdid it your muscles are sore.take ibuprofen and rest and plenty of fluids--and no work out until it is better.Cold compresses may help too.

Overwork!: BUT be evaluated for venous thrombosis Some persons will get " effort thrombosis" particularly if there is any thoracic outlet compromise. Likely need Doppler duplex scan and perhaps treatment
