Can someone explain to me what catatonic is?

Many Causes: Catatonia is a state of neurogenic motor immobility, and behavioral abnormality manifested by stupor. In other words the patient is unable to move and unable to communicate with others. Often associated with psychiatric illness especially schizophrenia, it can also occur due to medical conditions such as infections like encephalitis, metabolic disorders, and medication interactions.
