Chest pain to arm: This is not normal and should be reported to your heart surgeons and cardiologist to evaluate why you are having the pain.

Non-cardiac: Hi. Your pain doesn't have the characteristics I associate with cardiac pain, but more with the sternotomy itself. If the bone is not healing well, you could feel such pain. You could ask the surgeon who did the job. If the bone is shifting with movement, sneezing, etc, it will hurt. Get enough calcium and vitamin D for bone healing to take place. Good luck!
