Not anti anxiety: Gabapentin although occasionally has a sedative effect ,is not an anti anxiety medication It is usually given to people who suffer from abnormal sensory symptoms ( tingling,numbness etc)

See provider: more physicians are using gabapentin for anxiety but the medications has a wide range of doses so you may need more or need a different medication See provider to first increase it to get to the right dose to help you
