Yes and no: yes, it works and probably works better as contraception: 1) lower disaster rate perhaps (blood clots) 2) real question of contraceptive pill not being built for big people (small pill, large container... diluted out). http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3075047/pdf/jwh.2010.2462.pdf BUT Effect on menstrual irregularities is highly variable with the individual. That's a maybe.
