Kidney stones: Small kidney stones pass through the bladder. If this stone is less than 5 mm, it will pass. If larger, then the stone should be broken up by lithotripsy - or it can be removed surgically. Then, analysis of the stone content and a metabolic work up is essential to determine why the stone formed. Then a med can be prescribed and diet can be adjusted. Start with drinkin4 liters / day. Diet matters.
