Diagnosis first: The question remains what's causing the pain. If there is a strong suspicion for a lung origin consideration for pulmonary embolism in the right clinical context would be appropriate. Unclear to me how to get diarrhea in the picture. Try to stay well hydrated and talk to your doc about your symptoms.

The Devil's in ya!!: MAYBE it's a virus and you have an irritation of your lung lining as part of your misery(called "pleuritis," aka "Devil's grippe").If you have any of it for more than,say, two weeks you need to be checked again. Now, assuming it IS pleuritis,aspirin or Motrin helps some. Be sure to take regular deep breaths despite the pain or you could get worse! and if you do, get checked sooner! (my best guess)
