Viral infection +: There is a viral infection and also bleeding that occurs. Like the flu viral muscle involvement occurs from the viral infection. Dengue also cause bleeding into tissue and this can contribute. When you have a viral infection the body responds with a variety of chemicals and cytokines and some of these increase the swelling, attracting inflammatory cells and alsorelease pain chemicals.
