Regeneration tissue: In the healing process of a wound it will change colors and consistency. Many times a white film or tissue that can appear on a healing wound is regenerating tissue. Do not scrape it off, continue to nurture the wound and watch for increasing redness and swelling that continues to spread outward from the site. This is a possible sign of infection along with fevers of course. Continue healing!
