Infection: Go to the emergency room. If you are having fever, chills, sweats, and a clammy feeling then this is a sign that the antibiotic is not working and the infection has spread to the blood stream.

Infection: The above symptoms certainly deserve evaluation by a doctor. Given the inability to exam a patient over the internet, a trip to the doctor's office or ER is warranted.

Wound infection: You should go to the ER if you are having fevers while on antibiotics. There may be an abscess or bone infection developing, or the antibiotics you are receiving are not adequately covering the bacteria causing the infection.
