A member asked:

What is raynaud's syndrome and what is the treatment?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Raynaud's syndrome causes arterial spasm: Most common people have symptoms in their fingers toes and nose with bluish discoloration in response to extreme stress or cold-weather. The cause is controversial but I think it's probably an autoimmune condition. The basic treatment is to keep the extremity warm. So patient with this condition may be wearing gloves in the summertime particularly if they go into a air-conditioned office.
