A member asked:

I had two grade a blastocysts transferred on day 5. my hcg levels are: 9dpt 498, 13dpt 2994, 16dpt 9400 does this suggest multiple gestation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: In a normal singleton pregnancy these levels should double . The fact that they are closer to quadrupling suggests but does not diagnose twins. You should know soon with an ultrasound. Good luck.
