Hematuria/hematourea: Exercise induced hematuria is caused by increased activity and stress, trauma, to the kidney while being active. This micro trauma causes bleeding in the kidney which shows up in the urine. It is more common in physical sports ie boxing, football etc but can be found after any activity. The more severe the trauma the more significant the bleeding. Rest and restraint is the key for repair.
