How old?: How old is your son? If a 2 years old, it is a temper tantrum. Walk away and don't give him any attention for the behavior and he will stop doing it. It doesn't feel good, so the only reason for doing it is the attention. Try to prevent frustrations where possible. Give choices. Encourage speech. Check with his doctor to make sure his development is normal.
