If i had a canker sore and put aloe on it before i went to bed, then went away over night. was that canker sore herpes ?

Not likely: Herpes tends to stick around for several days. Herpes lesions typically reoccur in the same place, form on the skin as groups of small vesicles, have a clear discharge, and crust upon healing. If the sore went away overnight, it's not likely herpes.

Aloe: One has nothing to do with the other. Aloe is not curative of either.

Unlikely: This does not sound like a herpes infection. Herpes infections do not typically disappear overnight.
