Tongue sore: The canker sores is not contagious and usually heal on their own within a two weeks. Avoid spicy foods, keep good oral hygiene and ask your dentist for a prescription mouthwash. Remember, any white spot in your mouth that persists longer than 10-14 days should be checked by your dentist or PCP, as it may indicate a serious medical condition.

Can't: Can't recommend treatment until the cause of your soreness is diagnosed. There can be many reasons for your discomfort, too many to list in this forum. Someone with training has to actually physically examine you. Please call a Dentist, Oral Surgeon, Physician, or Ear/Nose/Throat Specialist and make arrangements to be seen ASAP. Yes, you do need help, so make an appointment.
