Perhaps.: Many pediatricians examine all children at least once a year without clothing to assess normal or abnormal development of secondary sexual characteristics which is called Tanner Staging. There is precocious puberty which leads to short height with closure of bone end plates. There are virulizing tumors, etc.

Not Sure: why she had a physical exam without getting undressed, but I guess having her period should not change the routine. Can not do a complete physical exam being completely dressed even if the genital exam is deferred.
