6 hours fr last dose: Only if it has been 6 hours since the last dose, but you could give tylenol (acetaminophen) sooner. Also, make sure he isn't bundled up and is wearing light cotton clothing. If necessary, you can give him a lukewarm sponge bath. The evaporation will cool him off. Fever less than 104 will not cause brain damage, but a high spike or drop in temperature could cause a febrile seizure which is scary.

Depends: If your baby is prone to seizures due to fever, absolutely wake him. Motrin doses should be 6 hours apart at least. Other options include cool compresses, tepid (NOT COLD) bath, and being careful not to overdress him. If you want to give him medication to bring the fever down, but it's too early for the next dose of motrin, a dose of tylenol (acetaminophen) in between can help.
