CTS: Carpal tunnel syndrome = CTS. Some early signs can be numbness in the affected hand, tingling that seems to improve when "shaking" your wrist, pains that may shoot up the arm on the same side. You may want to test yourself by tapping the middle of your wrist on the inside, palm up. This is called Tinel's test. If you feel shock, tingling on your hand, then you may have CTS.
