Dr, Clinic, or NP: You will need to see a health practioner before being prescribed birth control. Planned Parenthood is a good resource. You can also see a primary care practioner such as family practice physician, OB/GYN or a nurse practioner. There is a lot of steps that go into safely prescribing medication so it is in your best interest to have a full medical history taken along with examination
