It can: Multiple sclerosis can be associated with with an autonomic dysfunction, as in abnormal function of the autonomic nervous system which controls things like our heart rates and blood pressures. Unfortunately, it isn't uncommon to see abnormal heart rate and/or blood pressure responses to normal things like sitting up from lying down or rising from seated to standing.

Orthostatic hypotens: MS can cause orthostatic hypotension. There are many other causes too. Diabetes mellitus is probably the most common cause of this condition in the U.S.

No: But if you possess, could be a side effect of medication, or the presence of a second disorder (co-morbidity). Might also be associated with blood pressure control, anemia, thyroid problems, dehydration, etc. Get this checked by your doctor.
