If today is the 1st: time this has happened -then a clinical depression may not be high on the list (as one must have symptoms for at least two weeks). However, if this is a repeated recurrence then definitely recommend seeing your physician to rule out medical causes of symptoms, determine diagnosis and see if treatment is indicated.

Get help: if symptoms have been present nearly everyday for more than 2 weeks it is recommended that you have a psychiatric evaluation. symptoms of depression are: low mood, difficulty experiencing pleasure, changes in sleep, changes in appetite, fatigue, clouded thinking, thoughts of death or suicide, insomnia/hypersomnia, guilt and hopelessness. if most of those apply to you, see your MD or a psychiatrist
